So the ICTChallenge 10 is being held this year and I thought giving it a try.
I too don't know exactly how it's performed or how challenges are or what's the level of this competition.
The funny thing is only teams of 2 to 4 people can join, and I couldn't find anyone to make a team with me so I decided to register alone. There was no harm in trying and surprisingly I received an email with required information saying I've been registered to participate, yay :)
Though I assume they still won't let me in in the day of challenge so I thought about telling them my partner is late or has quit in the last minute.
We shall see.
You might think that an individual never is able to compete with a team of 4 and you have no chance to win. The point is though, I never had. I didn't even think about winning when registered. All I'm hoping to get from this challenge is a bit of fun and maybe a bit of experience.
So how is the preparation going? I'm going to start today, and the challenge will be at five more days.
All I'm concerned about is my final exams has already began and due to my terrible performance during the semester I really need good scores to pass lessons. Which means I can't go full time practicing for challenge but still I'll find some time.
Maybe only 20 minutes a day? That's better than nothing anyways.
BTW I'm going to write Java xD
IK IK, not a vise choice for a time based challenge; but really don't have time to refresh on my python skills.
