            Obviously I wasn't planning on going to the US anytime soon, but if I did... they might struggle with my visa application when I put every "email address I've used for the last 10 years" on, because I actively use a variety of catch-all domains/subdomains.

            I've probably missed some addresses (e.g. to which I've only ever received spam that's since been deleted), but a conservative estimate of the number of personal email addresses which I've sent mail from or to would be... 7,669 email addresses. 🤣

              Operation MoneyMount, ISO Deploying Phantom Stealer

                Since November 28th of this year I've received 22 spam emails with the same title "Let's start getting to know each other." (with the period at the end) from senders with names like Ellie, Emily, Harper, Olivia, and Aria. I haven't been able to find information about an ongoing scam like this. Has anyone else been seeing this one?

                (I'm not asking for advice about dealing with spam. SpamAssassin has this one well in hand. I'm just curious if anyone else has been seeing spam like this).

                      Which is not Google, Microsoft and Proton Mail.

                      No storage space or office features is needed, only email (and transparency) is enough.

                      Also it would be amazing if they let me use my own domain, but that's not necessary

                                    Operation FrostBeacon: Multi-Cluster Cobalt Strike Campaign Targets Russia

                                    Operation FrostBeacon is a targeted malware campaign delivering Cobalt Strike beacons to companies in Russia. It uses two infection clusters: one leveraging malicious archive files with LNK shortcuts, and another exploiting CVE-2017-0199 and CVE-2017-11882 vulnerabilities. Both clusters lead to remote HTA execution and deployment of an obfuscated PowerShell loader that decrypts and runs Cobalt Strike shellcode in memory. The campaign targets finance and legal departments of B2B enterprises in logistics, industrial production, construction, and technical supply.                                       North Korea’s Contagious Interview Campaign Escalates: 338 Malicious npm Packages, 50,000 Downloads

                                      The Contagious Interview operation continues to weaponize the npm registry with a repeatable playbook. Since our July 14, 2025 update, we have identified and analyzed more than 338 malicious packages with over 50,000 cumulative downloads.

                                      25 of these packages remain live on the npm registry at the time of writing. We have submitted takedown requests to the npm security team and petitioned for suspension of the associated publisher accounts.

                                      In this latest wave, North Korean threat actors used more than 180 fake personas tied to new npm aliases and registration emails, and ran over a dozen command and control (C2) endpoints (see IOCs). Their tooling has evolved from direct BeaverTail malware droppers to HexEval, XORIndex, and encrypted loaders. Each executes at install or import, reconstructs obfuscated BeaverTail in memory, then typically fetches the InvisibleFerret backdoor for persistence. New malicious packages appear weekly, including this week.
